Position: Registered Nurse, Cardiac Imaging
Location: Highland Park, Rapid Consulting Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform stress testing and develop individualized care plans to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Assess patient health data, involving patients, families, and healthcare teams, and communicate care plans effectively.
- Educate patients and families tailored to their cultural background and learning needs, and identify community resources for disease management.
- Collaborate with peers and contribute to professional development, supporting clinical education and delegating tasks as needed.
- Provide psychological support and assist technical staff with contrast injections, venipuncture, medication administration, oxygen therapy, and IV management.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, stay updated on research and trends, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in transporting acutely ill patients and support ongoing research and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in Cardiac Imaging; prior stress testing experience is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to patient needs.
