Role: Registered Nurse – Maternal Fetal Medicine with a focus on providing specialized obstetric care.
Responsibilities include:
- Independently delivering safe, compassionate nursing care in a high-risk obstetrics setting
- Completing non-stress tests (NSTs) and utilizing the nursing process for patient care planning and evaluation
- Guiding unlicensed assistive personnel and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Contributing to safety and high-quality patient experiences
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current IL nursing license
- BLS/CPR certification required; NST certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient Labor and Delivery or high-risk obstetrics experience; fetal monitoring expertise required
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills, with experience in high-risk obstetrics and fetal monitoring.
