Role Overview
Provides technical support under the supervision of a registered nurse for a designated group of patients to ensure quality outcomes. Engages in service functions and effective communication with staff, patients, and visitors, and performs additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Assesses patients as directed by a registered nurse.
- Contributes to developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans under nurse supervision.
- Assists with patient care activities and supports nursing staff.
- Participates in initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
- Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in ongoing educational activities.
- Completes assigned professional goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure; limited to 90 days in the Nurse Intern II role.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
