Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Advanced Modality – Cath Lab/Vascular Radiology Technologist (Imaging) with an opportunity to gain experience in cardiac and vascular procedures. Cross-training for scrubbing is available, making it ideal for those looking to venture beyond general radiology. The role involves providing imaging support in vascular procedures using hybrid OR fluoroscopy, assisting in cath lab settings by monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile fields, and collaborating with nurses and providers. Equipment includes Siemens machines, offering access to advanced imaging technology.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for procedures.
- Performing studies independently, including portable exams and on-call situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher).
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Open to new grads, upcoming grads, and experienced radiologic and MRI technologists.
- Preferred experience includes 2+ years and certifications such as CPR, IV therapy, and relevant licenses.
