Role Overview:
This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5 years of experience to deliver comprehensive respiratory care across diverse patient populations, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, applying advanced clinical expertise, and supporting critical care interventions such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, and bronchoscopy. Responsibilities include effective communication, education of patients and staff, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and continuous professional development. The incumbent must demonstrate strong assessment, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Licenses & Certifications: Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS), Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication, teaching, and time management abilities
Key Duties:
- Provide patient-centered respiratory assessments, diagnosis, planning, and treatment
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following established standards
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members on respiratory treatments
