Role Overview:
This position involves performing ultrasound imaging, primarily breast scans, to assist in diagnosis and treatment. The role includes ensuring equipment readiness, conducting exams independently, and documenting procedures accurately. It may also involve vascular imaging and supporting needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
- Perform imaging examinations and document findings thoroughly.
- Conduct studies independently, including portable and on-call exams as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent required.
- Experience in breast sonography or related fields preferred, with optional training provided for certification.
- Licenses & Certifications: RDMS or equivalent; CPR; RDCS or equivalent preferred for advanced roles.
- Educational requirement: Associate or Trade School diploma.

- Work hours are day shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or call.
