Role Overview
This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a 32-bed, stroke-certified Intermediate Care Unit with a focus on cardiac monitoring and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting safety, quality, and patient-family education. The role requires developing individualized care plans, communicating effectively with the healthcare team, and addressing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
Candidates should hold an RN license with a nursing diploma or higher. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. The position is safety-sensitive, demanding alertness and safety awareness at all times.
