Job Summary
Performs imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology standards to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include applying radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning, developing treatment plans, and ensuring documentation compliance. Maintains equipment and work areas for safety and participates in performance improvement activities. Completes assigned goals efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 6 months experience in a specialty area meeting CT competency requirements.
- Registered with ARRT in Radiography (R); CT registration preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic computer literacy skills; state licensure as needed.
- Strong understanding of radiologic principles, proper patient positioning, and safety protocols.
