Role: Med Surg/Cardiac Registered Nurse (RN) providing compassionate patient care in an Intermediate Care unit.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a supportive environment by offering emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends.
- Complete nursing processes, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and supervise assigned staff to promote patient health.
- Set patient care goals, educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care, and address their questions.
- Ensure quality care by adhering to standards, monitoring outcomes, and making necessary adjustments per regulations and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
