Position: Registered Nurse (RN) for a General Medical Unit
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinate and implement individualized care plans ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Provide tailored patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
