Position: Lead Respiratory Therapist RRT – Nights
Location: Elmhurst Hospital
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily shift activities and assist staff in performing job functions. Plan and organize shift duties, ensuring patient care standards, performance improvements, and budget compliance are met. Adjust work assignments based on workload and staffing fluctuations. Provide leadership, assist with assessments, and initiate orders per protocols. Resolve procedural and equipment issues, and address patient, physician, or nursing complaints, reporting incidents accordingly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (required). Current CPR, RRT, NALS, PALS certifications, and Illinois DPR licensure (required). Minimum of 3 years of respiratory therapy experience; NEO/NICU and PFT experience preferred.
