Position: Registered Nurse Triage
Location: Elmhurst
Hours: Full-time, generally Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Role Overview: The RN Triage Nurse provides patient care via inbound and outbound phone calls, assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical evaluation, education, and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities: Deliver compassionate patient support, demonstrate professional telephone etiquette, and handle high-stress situations effectively.
Qualifications & Skills: Current Illinois RN license, CPR BLS (AHA), knowledge of physician practice operations, excellent communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork, self-motivation, time management, and proficiency in basic computer skills, including typing and internet use. Ability to multitask and manage difficult patient interactions is essential.
