We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine to deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Independently providing nursing care within the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department
- Performing Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) and utilizing the nursing process for patient planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Guiding and supervising unlicensed assistive personnel in interdisciplinary patient care
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality care
- Promoting safety and enhancing patient experience
Qualifications and skills required:
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current IL nursing license and BLS/CPR certification (AHA required)
- At least 1 year of inpatient Labor and Delivery or high-risk OB experience, with fetal monitoring expertise
- Experience with NSTs and high-risk obstetrics is strongly preferred
