Role: Radiation Therapist, Oncology
- Responsibilities: Simulate treatment setups, perform dosimetric calculations, and accurately deliver ionizing radiation as prescribed by radiation oncologists. Assist in patient care and management while adhering to clinical, technical, and operational policies.
- Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program; candidate for ARRT (R) certification, with successful certification within one year; current CPR certification; Illinois licensure (IEMA). Preferred experience with Varian equipment and ARIA EMR.
- Skills: Technical expertise in radiation therapy procedures, strong patient care skills, compliance with safety and operational procedures, and ability to work under general supervision.
Key Duties: Deliver prescribed ionizing radiation treatments, assist in clinical procedures, and support patient management in a fast-paced oncology environment.
