Position: Registered Nurse in a mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice at Elmhurst Main Hospital.
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Qualifications: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; current Illinois RN licensure; CPR certification; chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within four years of start date. Optional: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and one year of inpatient experience are preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Duties: Deliver quality nursing care during weekend night shifts, including holiday rotations. Promote professional growth through career pathways and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
