Position: RN – Inpatient Headache Unit – Per Diem
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provides patient assessments, gathers health data, and collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinates and ensures safe, effective, and timely care plans and interventions.
- Communicates clearly in person, by phone, and in writing with all stakeholders.
- Personalizes patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practices.
- Maintains current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.
- Current Illinois nursing licensure.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Key Duties & Requirements:
- Per Diem commitment of at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including weekend hours.
- Day shift hours from 7am to 7:30pm.
