Summary:
Seeking a licensed RN for part-time per diem evening shifts in an adolescent and young adult psychiatric inpatient unit. The role involves providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients aged 12-22, utilizing the nursing process to develop and evaluate individualized care plans. The RN will supervise unlicensed staff, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure positive safety and patient experience outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required
- BSN degree preferred
- BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Providers required
- Minimum 1-year hospital nursing experience; psychiatric experience strongly preferred
Key Duties:
- Deliver high-quality inpatient psychiatric nursing care for adolescents and young adults
- Lead and guide unlicensed assistive personnel
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
