Registered Nurse – PACU – Days

Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Skokie, with travel to Evanston, Glenbrook, and Highland Park Hospitals
Hours: Full-time, with availability between 6am and 11:30am, including call duties on weeknights and weekends

Responsibilities:

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across diverse patient populations

Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

Involve patients and families in care decisions and ensure regulatory compliance

Take accountability for nursing outcomes and make informed decisions based on therapeutic relationships

Guide and supervise unlicensed nursing staff in delivering interdisciplinary care

Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate of a state-approved nursing program; BSN preferred
Current IL RN license and CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 6 months RN experience in a similar role (preferred)
Basic computer skills
