Role Overview: An experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is sought to join the urgent care team, providing diagnosis, treatment, and wellness services for common medical conditions such as sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections. The role includes conducting routine health exams, immunizations, and screenings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of urgent and primary care conditions.
- Perform health exams, immunizations, and screenings.
- Work autonomously with limited administrative duties.
- Collaborate with a team and access extensive healthcare resources.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum six months of primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care experience.
- For Physician Assistants: Completion of an ARC-PA accredited program, NCCPA certification, and licensure in PA.
- For Nurse Practitioners: Completion of an approved program, national certification, and PA licensure eligibility.
- Ability to treat patients from age one and older.
