Role Overview: This is a full-time Inpatient RN position in a 24-bed advanced acute care unit, providing complex care for patients with diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, cardiac, renal, GI disorders, and sepsis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, perform, and evaluate nursing activities to meet patient needs, ensuring safety, patient satisfaction, and compassionate care.
- Complete assessments, address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs, and develop and coordinate individualized care plans including education and discharge planning.
- Provide direct patient care—treatments, medications, diagnostics—and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Collaborate proactively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve patient needs.
- Troubleshoot equipment, participate in evidence-based practice, and contribute to unit decision-making.
- Engage in quality and safety initiatives, working as a team to improve care standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Nursing degree from a specialty training program is required, with the ability to perform assessments and deliver comprehensive patient care. Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
