Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced modalities such as Cardiac Catheterization, Vascular Radiology, CT, MRI, and other medical imaging techniques on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment, perform studies independently or in on-call situations, and support procedures in hybrid OR and Cath Lab settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing imaging support during vascular and cardiac procedures using advanced equipment.
- Monitoring patient vitals, setting up sterile procedures, and collaborating with medical staff.
- Utilizing Siemens machines and other advanced imaging tools to produce accurate images.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency; certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Open to new graduates, students, and experienced radiologic technologists, including MRI and cardiovascular specialists.
- Required licenses/certifications: IEMA (Illinois only), RTR, CT, MR, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; CPR and IV therapy preferred for advanced roles.
