Role Overview:
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient treatments. The role involves applying advanced clinical expertise, troubleshooting procedures, and supporting critical care services such as ventilator support, ECMO, bronchoscopy, and sleep studies. The therapist will educate patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards. Independence and collaboration are essential, with opportunities to perform additional responsibilities like cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and labor & delivery support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates degree or CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program completion
- Licenses & Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT), Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS)
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
- No prior experience required; ability to perform multiple duties with effective time management
Key Duties:
- Provide patient-centered respiratory care, including diagnostics and therapeutic procedures
- Participate in interdisciplinary communication and documentation
- Train and educate patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments
- Apply clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and support complex procedures
- Support specialized services such as ECMO, bronchoscopy, and sleep labs as needed
