Role Summary: This position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons during procedures, ensuring patient care across all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgical procedures by preparing rooms, instruments, and supplies; practicing aseptic techniques; and coordinating treatments with other disciplines.
- Connect patients to clinical equipment, monitor patient reactions, and document medical information.
- Identify surgical sites, verify specimens, and maintain accurate supply inventories.
- Assist with wound assessments, sterile dressing changes, and intra-operative needs.
- Prepare operating rooms, assist in training new personnel, and ensure proper disposal of sharps and linens.
- Help with room cleanup and restocking supplies for subsequent procedures.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have Surgical Technologist Certification; previous experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, aseptic techniques, and ability to work in a clinical environment are essential.
