Role Overview: Provides primary clinical support in a walk-in healthcare setting, assisting with patient assessments, procedures, and documentation to ensure quality, efficient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtains and documents patient history, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations.
- Supports providers during minor surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Collects, prepares, and documents laboratory specimens accurately.
- Communicates with patients, responds to inquiries, and prioritizes provider needs.
- Administers medications, vaccines, and performs skin testing within scope of practice.
- Ensures examination and treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared.
- Follows safety protocols and maintains a sterile environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required). Ability to perform clinical tasks, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively in a healthcare environment.
