Role: Registered Nurse in the Transitional Care Unit, providing direct patient care within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to standards. Promote patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Develop and communicate individualized care plans, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure safety and quality compliance. Use critical thinking to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
Qualifications & Skills: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred. RN licensure mandatory. No prior experience necessary; 2+ years of experience and supervisory experience are preferred. Ability to work safely, demonstrate clinical skills, and engage in professional development.
