Role Overview:
Seeking a Cardiac Diagnostic Lab Registered Nurse to provide specialized non-invasive cardiac diagnostic services, including echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors, and EKG processing. The nurse will deliver patient-centered care, educate patients and families on managing their conditions, and ensure safety and quality compliance. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, assessing physical and psychosocial needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to communicate care strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred
- Valid RN license
- 3+ years of cardiac or critical care experience preferred
- CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications required or obtainable within 90 days
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Duties:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and evaluation
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care and medication management
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities
- Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans
- Proactively assess patient needs, preferences, and barriers to involvement
