Role Overview:
Seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The role involves preparing patients and equipment, performing studies independently, and handling on-call, portable, and various site exams. Cross-training in MRI is available for registered RTs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school equivalent
- No experience required; previous experience preferred (2+ years)
- Licenses & certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI)
- CPR and intravenous therapy certifications preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Perform exams independently, including on-call and portable studies
