Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care – MedSurg, working night shifts (7pm-7am).
Responsibilities include: Providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care by performing the nursing process, individualizing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Ensuring effective communication with patients and families, practicing evidence-based standards, and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Promoting a respectful, inclusive environment, mentoring colleagues, and participating in research and protocol development. Upholding organizational policies and safety standards is essential.
Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required at hire. Less than one year of clinical experience or completion of accredited nursing program is preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in English, basic computer skills, strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, critical thinking, time management, and the ability to respond decisively in emergencies. Demonstrates professionalism and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
