Role: Registered Nurse
Location: LOH Main – Naperville
Type: Part-time, 20 hours/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.
- Welcome patients, promote a safe environment, and supervise direct care staff.
- Coordinate with departments for patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring thorough communication.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data and include medical issues in treatment plans.
- Participate in setting departmental goals, staff selection, orientation, and program evaluation.
- Attend training, serve as a role model, and educate community groups about mental health.
- Supervise patient care within budget constraints, managing staffing, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
- Preferred: 1-year psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and understanding of therapeutic systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and possess a nursing degree.
Certifications: CPR and CPI (within 90 days of hire).
