Role: Registered Nurse (Per Diem, LOH Main – Naperville)
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, documenting care, and evaluating outcomes.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Providing a safe, therapeutic environment by supervising staff and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Facilitating patient admissions, transfers, and discharges through effective communication.
- Engaging with patients and families to gather data, analyze needs, and participate in interdisciplinary planning.
- Contributing to departmental goals, participating in quality improvement activities, and supervising direct care as needed.
- Attending trainings, serving as a resource, and educating community groups on mental health topics.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
- Experience in psychiatric care preferred, with knowledge of abnormal psychology and therapeutic systems a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within budgetary constraints.
