Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting.
- Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practices to deliver individualized care. Foster relationship-based care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and their families in care planning. Coordinate documentation and delivery of safe care, promote teamwork through effective communication, and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Professional Development: Complete ongoing competency assessments, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in research and quality improvement activities. Uphold organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
- Resource Management: Plan patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and support resource efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills: Must possess an active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact), BLS certification, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing. Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with a focus on compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based practice.
