Registered Nurse – Women’s and Children Resource Team – Nights

Position Overview:

This role involves providing professional nursing care across Pediatric/PICU, Mother/Baby, NICU, and SCN units at two hospitals, with responsibilities including patient assessment, monitoring, planning, and evaluation in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. The nurse delegates tasks, collaborates with the healthcare team, and adapts to unit-specific duties.

Qualifications & Skills:

1-2 years of PICU and NICU experience required

Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years if only an Associate Degree held

Current Illinois RN licensure, BLS certification, PALS, and NRP (within six months)

Critical thinking, assessment, and delegation skills

Ability to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays

Key Duties:

Delivering safe, effective patient care with attention to changes in patient condition

Recording observations and ensuring compliance with policies

Participating as a team member to achieve unit goals
