Role Overview
This position involves patrolling assigned areas to identify safety hazards, unauthorized persons, and potential risks to people or property. The role includes conducting preliminary investigations of complaints, incidents, and accidents, and preparing detailed reports. Providing directions and general information to patients, visitors, and staff is essential, including assisting with mobility needs when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 20 hours of training as outlined by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation or certification as a Peace Officer in Illinois
- Valid Illinois driver’s license or commitment to obtain one within six months
- Covid vaccination required
- Preferred: 2 years of relevant experience
