Role Overview: The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in MRI and other advanced modalities such as CT, Mammography, Bone Density, and Cardiac Catheterization, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and other site-specific tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Trade School education.
- No prior experience required, but preferred experience is 2+ years.
- Licenses & Certifications including RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA for Illinois (excluding MRI).
- CPR and Intravenous Therapy certifications are a plus.
