Role Overview:
This position involves performing various cardiac tests such as treadmill stress testing, echocardiography, holter monitoring, and cardiac doppler to support the diagnosis and evaluation of cardiac conditions. The Cardiac Sonographer collaborates with cardiologists to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
- Perform tests at different locations, maintaining accurate patient logs and updating charges in the system.
- Maintain patient files and ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- RDCS or equivalent certification is necessary; an associate’s degree in Allied Health/Sonography is preferred.
- Experience is not required, but two years of related experience and CPR certification are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac testing procedures and excellent attention to detail are essential.
