Role Overview:
This position involves performing respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
It supervises no other positions but requires comprehensive responsibilities related to patient care and therapy execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory procedures, assist with patient care, and ensure proper therapy implementation.
Ensure safety protocols are followed, including wearing protective equipment, handling chemicals, and managing emergency situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations for disabilities.
Physical strength to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, and mobility to change positions and assist patients.
Ability to see clearly with corrective wear and hear clearly with assistance.
Experience with infection control, emergency response, and use of protective gear is required.
Physical & Activity Requirements:
Activities include sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting, often frequently or occasionally.
May be exposed to infectious diseases, chemicals, and require irregular hours.
Physical endurance for continuous and varied physical activities is necessary.
Visual & Hearing Requirements:
Must be able to see with corrective lenses and hear clearly with assistance.
