Role Overview

Seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment. Responsibilities include

assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication therapy

ensuring accurate medication preparation and dispensing

resolving medication-related issues

supervising support staff

educating patients and staff on drug therapy

managing procurement, storage, and disposal of medications

. The role involves

evaluating medication orders for appropriateness

participating in departmental meetings and committees

serving as a drug therapy resource

and

promoting safety and efficiency in medication use.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Minimum of 2 years of experience; supervisory experience not required
Licensed as a Pharmacist and certified for Medication Therapy Services in MO
Preferred: Doctorate in Pharmacy with 2-5 years of experience
