Role Overview:
This position involves performing general radiographic procedures for adult and pediatric patients to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, explains procedures with professionalism, and conducts imaging independently, including portable exams and C-Arm procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment; communicate instructions clearly and courteously.
- Perform radiographic imaging for inpatients, outpatients, and during on-call situations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency.
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Preferred experience includes general radiology, ARRT certification, and CPR certification.
- Licenses may include IEMA (excluding MRI) and Radiology Technologist registration.
