Role Overview:
Seeking a Certified Board Simulation Radiation Therapist to perform patient treatments utilizing ionizing radiation under the guidance of a Radiation Oncologist. The role involves preparing patients and charts, delivering precise treatments, and coordinating treatment schedules. Experience with treatment techniques such as SBRT, SRS, and adaptive therapy, as well as proficiency with advanced treatment machines (e.g., TrueBeam, Gamma Knife), is preferred. The position requires completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program, ARRT certification (RT(T)), and may benefit from CT Technologist or Dosimetrist experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and treatment charts
- Deliver accurate, consistent radiation treatments
- Complete treatment processes and manage scheduling
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED (additional education in Radiation Therapy preferred)
- Board Certified by ARRT (RT(T))
- Experience in treatment planning and radiation therapy techniques
