Role Overview:
Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide skilled inpatient services in an acute care hospital setting, focusing on patient-centered evaluation and treatment. The OT collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare teams, develops treatment plans, and recommends appropriate equipment and referrals as needed.
- Establishes and implements treatment plans considering discharge needs and patient progress.
- Educates and consults with patients, families, and other providers, making referrals when appropriate.
- Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring interventions meet patient needs based on skill levels.
- Completes accurate documentation following departmental policies.
- Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license.
- No prior experience required; supervision experience is not mandatory.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
