Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a home setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of physical therapy practices according to physician orders. The role includes instructing patients and families on therapy procedures, assisting with physical activities, and fitting orthotic and prosthetic devices. Collaboration with physicians and other practitioners is essential to optimize patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct and assist patients with physical activities and supportive devices.
- Re-evaluate and adapt treatment plans for maximum benefit.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to refine treatment approaches.
- Evaluate, fit, and modify prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (PT).
- Valid Driver’s License and Physical Therapist License.
- No prior experience required.
