Role: This position involves providing patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities: Tasks include monitoring vital signs, performing EKGs, bladder ultrasounds, blood glucose checks, assisting with Foley catheter and IV removal, specimen collection, and supporting patients with bathing, feeding, turning, and ambulation. The role also involves assisting with patient admissions, discharges, implementing care plans, maintaining hourly rounds, ensuring safety protocols, and delivering emotional support to create a safe and high-quality patient experience.
Qualifications & Skills: Candidates must hold current CPR/BLS certification, have completed a CNA training program or clinical rotation, and possess at least one year of relevant medical office experience. Basic computer proficiency for charting and documentation is required. Soft skills such as interpersonal communication, prioritization, collaboration, and following directions are essential.
