Key responsibilities include:
- Managing specimen collection, identification, and proper handling.
- Performing accessioning, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
- Replenishing supplies and following established reporting and documentation procedures.

- Participating in ongoing education and maintaining competency through exams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with relevant certification or experience.
- Successful completion of an ASCP/NAACLS-accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent experience.
