Role Overview: This position involves performing essential housekeeping tasks within a healthcare facility, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing.
Clean and polish fixtures such as sinks, tubs, and mirrors; restock supplies like soap and towels.
Strip, buff, and wax floors in designated areas on a routine schedule.
Remove trash, clean waste receptacles, and transport waste to disposal areas.
Disinfect walls, ceilings, windows, and other surfaces across various facility areas.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in Environmental Services or related cleaning roles preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.
Familiarity with routine procedures and operation of cleaning equipment, typically learned quickly on the job.
Covid vaccination required.
Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and staff.
