Role Overview:
Seeking a licensed pharmacy technician to join a patient-focused outpatient team. Responsible for clerical duties, entering prescription and insurance information, selling prescriptions, managing inventory, and supporting prescription workflows. Must perform data entry, handle medication dispensing (manual and automated), and assist with basic compounding. Prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete clerical tasks including filing, sending/receiving tubes and faxes, and processing mail.
- Enter customer, insurance, and prescription data; process prescription transfers.
- Sell prescriptions via POS system, manage cash and reconcile payments.
- Order, stock, and manage inventory; perform cycle counts and remove expired products.
- Support medication dispensing, data entry, and basic compounding tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- State Board Pharmacy Registration
- No prior experience required
