Join our Radiology Team as a Senior Advanced Modality Technologist, responsible for performing advanced imaging studies independently, assisting with departmental quality assurance, and mentoring new staff and students.
- Key responsibilities include: preparing patients and equipment, conducting various studies including portable and on-call exams, ensuring regulatory compliance (ACR, JC), and leading safety and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist in department initiatives, enhance patient experience, and promote employee engagement through process improvements.
- Supervise and mentor staff in the absence of lead technologists.
Qualifications: an associate degree or trade school equivalent, with 2-5 years of experience; certifications such as R.T.(R), CT, MR, or related credentials; and additional licenses like IEMA for Illinois. Preferred candidates have 5-10 years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certification.
