Caregiver Role Summary

As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support to residents, assisting with

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care, while promoting safety, dignity, and independence.

You will follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document any changes, ensuring personalized care. Engaging residents through conversation and activities is key to enriching their daily experience.

Additional responsibilities include supporting dining services, maintaining a clean environment, and effectively communicating with families and care team members. In Memory Care settings, creating meaningful experiences for residents with memory loss is essential.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain), and strong communication and compassionate skills. Reliability and a caring attitude are vital.
