Role Overview

The Medication Aide/Med Tech ensures residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. Key responsibilities include administering medications per physician orders, following the Six Rights of Medication Administration, documenting accurately in MAR/TAR, observing residents during and after medication passes, monitoring symptoms, reporting concerns, completing narcotic counts, maintaining clean medication carts, and adhering to infection control and safety standards.

This role is critical in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through meticulous attention to detail and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and age 18+
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care
