Job Summary
Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with various needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Duties:
- Administers respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments accordingly.
- Operates and maintains respiratory equipment.
- Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Documents treatments and patient progress accurately.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
Experience: Not required.
Certifications/Licensure:
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas (required).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required within 30 days of start).
