Role Overview:
Position: Certified Board Simulation Radiation Therapist
Shift: Day shift, 4 days of 10-hour shifts (6:30 am – 5 pm), with no weekends or call
Location: Center for Advanced Medicine
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient treatments using ionizing radiation under the Radiation Oncologist’s guidance
- Prepare patient and charts before procedures
- Deliver precise and consistent radiation treatments
- Coordinate treatment processes and scheduling
- Conduct CT simulation, treatment planning scans, and IV starts
- Utilize advanced treatment techniques (SBRT, SRS, Adaptive, OSMS, Hypersite)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Completed accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Board Certified by ARRT (RT[T])
- Experience in treatment delivery preferred; CT Technologist or Dosimetrist experience advantageous
- Knowledge of radiology, medical imaging, and radiation oncology equipment
